About Navjot

Navjot Banipal has been part of our Schaumburg office since 2017. She started as a dental assistant, learned this practice chairside over the years that followed, then earned her hygiene degree and came back to the same team as a registered dental hygienist. Longtime Schaumburg patients already know her; new ones get a hygienist who knows the place inside out.

Background & education

Navjot joined our Schaumburg office as a dental assistant in 2017, and after several years working alongside our dentists she decided to build a career of her own in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and completed her dental hygiene degree at Harper College. Those years of hands-on experience, paired with her clinical training, shaped the compassionate, patient-focused hygienist she is today.

Preventive focus & coaching

Her appointments are built around two things: a thorough, careful cleaning, and an explanation you can actually use. She walks patients through what she sees, answers questions without rushing, and shapes brushing and flossing advice around real routines rather than ideal ones. Comfort matters to her, so she checks in as she works.

Outside the office

Navjot spends most of her free time with family, especially her nieces and nephews, and she is happiest outdoors, whether that means hiking or just exploring somewhere new. A healthy, balanced life is something she practices rather than only recommends, and she brings that same energy into the operatory.
