Dental Salon has cared for the Chicago area since 2003. Whether you're moving to a new dentist, returning after a long gap, or coming in for a second opinion, we'll meet you where you are.

What to expect

Four simple steps from booking to leaving with a clear plan.

  1. Step 1

    Book online or by phone

    Pick the office that's most convenient. We typically have new-patient slots within the same week and offer evening and Saturday hours at both locations.

  2. Step 2

    Complete intake before you arrive

    Once you book, we'll send a short intake form covering medical history, insurance, and what you'd like to focus on. Filling it out ahead of time means we can start with treatment, not paperwork.

  3. Step 3

    Comprehensive exam, x-rays, and a cleaning

    Your first visit is a complete assessment. We perform digital x-rays, a soft-tissue exam, and a gum-health screening before your cleaning with a hygienist. AI-assisted software helps our dentists review those images, but they still personally evaluate findings and answer your questions. We set aside 60 to 90 minutes to ensure we have plenty of time to discuss your health.

  4. Step 4

    An honest plan, no pressure

    We walk through what we found, what's optional and what's not, and what it costs. If something can wait, we'll tell you. If you'd like a second opinion, we'll help you get one.

As an independent practice, decisions about your care are made right here in our office. Treatment plans are right-sized for your needs, the pace of work fits your life, and we always have the room to recommend doing nothing if that is the best path forward.

For new patients without insurance. Cannot be combined with insurance or the membership plan. If active gum disease is found, additional periodontal therapy may be recommended at standard fees.

We work with most major dental plans and offer in-house and third-party financing so cost never gets in the way of care.

Most major dental plans are accepted at our offices. To help you understand your coverage, we verify your benefits before your visit. Please provide a photo of your insurance card when booking so we can provide you with clear, upfront information.

Dental Salon Membership Plan

Two annual plans. Standard is $350/year for the first member ($300/year each additional member); the Perio plan is $450/year ($400/year each additional). No insurance required, no waiting periods, no deductibles. Full benefits the same day you sign up.

  • 20% off all other procedures

Each additional member is $50 off the first-member price on either plan. Spouses, children under age 21, and any additional persons living at the same address.

This plan cannot be combined with any insurance policies or discount plans. We partner with Care Credit and Cherry for monthly payment plans, including promotional no-interest options when you pay the balance in full within six months to one year, depending on the financing terms you qualify for.

Lincoln Park

Parking
Use the parking deck just south of North Avenue on Sheffield. The first set of elevators serves the garage only. Go past those and enter the building on the third floor, then take the second set of elevators (past the FFC Gym) to the 8th floor. This garage no longer issues paper tickets. Register your license plate with Legacy Parking before you arrive using the Legacy Parking mobile app or https://www.legacyparking.com/, then ask our Chicago (Lincoln Park) front desk for a QR code at check-in. The QR code applies one hour of complimentary garage parking and a discounted garage rate if you stay longer.

Three blocks west of the CTA Red Line North/Clybourn station. The #72 North Avenue bus stops in front of the building.
