FAQ

Insurance, payment, and the membership plan
- Do you take my insurance?
- We accept most major PPO insurance plans and Medicare (including Medicare Advantage plans with dental benefits), and file claims for you as a courtesy. We're not in-network with HMO plans. We'll verify your benefits before your visit so you know what to expect. See our insurance page for details.
- What if I don't have insurance?
- We offer two membership plans for uninsured patients. The Standard Plan is $350/year for the first member ($300/year each additional member) and includes two exams with a general dentist, one emergency exam, one set of x-rays, two standard cleanings, a take-home whitening kit, and 15% off all other procedures. The Perio Plan is $450/year ($400/year each additional) for patients with gum disease, with the same exam and x-ray coverage, perio cleanings as diagnosed by your provider, a take-home whitening kit, and 20% off all other procedures.
- Do you offer financing?
- Yes. We work with Care Credit and Cherry. Ask us how membership savings and financing can work together at your visit.
- How do I pay my bill?
- Email the office where you were seen. See our pay-your-bill page for the right address. We accept credit card, ACH, and the financing options above.
Scheduling and your first visit
- How soon can I get an appointment?
- New-patient visits are typically available within the same week. For dental emergencies, we save same-day slots six days a week. Call the office and we'll fit you in.
- What should I bring to my first visit?
- ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of medications you take, and any dental records or recent x-rays from a previous office. Plan on about 90 minutes for a comprehensive new-patient visit.
- Do you see kids?
- Yes. We see family patients of all ages at both offices. The first dental visit should happen by a child's first birthday or within six months of the first tooth.
- Are you open weekends?
- We're open Monday through Saturday at both offices. Specific hours vary by location. See the contact page for current hours.
Cosmetic, implants, and clear aligners
- Am I a candidate for veneers?
- Most healthy adults are. The honest answer requires a short conversation about what you don't like about your smile, what you'd like changed, and an exam. Many patients start by sending a question through our contact form before committing to an in-person visit.
- How much do dental implants cost?
- A single implant from start to finish typically falls in the $3,000–$6,000 range depending on whether bone grafting or specialty work is needed. We'll give you a written estimate after your exam, with no surprises.
- How long does clear aligner treatment take?
- Most adult treatment plans run 6 to 18 months. Free consults at both offices include a quick scan. We offer Invisalign and other clear aligner systems, and we will explain what fits your case.
- Do you offer Bioclear?
- Yes. Dr. Arora is Bioclear-certified and offers it at both offices as a less-invasive alternative to veneers for closing gaps and reshaping teeth.
Emergencies, sedation, and anxiety
- What counts as a dental emergency?
- Active pain, swelling, a knocked-out or broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, or anything that's keeping you from eating or sleeping. Call the office directly. We save same-day slots for these.
- Do you offer sedation?
- Yes. We offer oral sedation and (where appropriate) IV sedation for anxious patients and for longer surgical visits. Tell us when you book and we'll plan around it.
- I haven't been to the dentist in years. Is that okay?
- It's more common than you'd think, and you won't be lectured. Many patients start with a phone call, a written question, or a non-clinical office tour, whichever makes the first step easier.
