Specials

Current intro offers.

We offer clear pricing for your first comprehensive exam as well as same-day care for dental emergencies. There are no hidden fees or bait-and-switch offers. We ensure that what the special covers is transparently honored, and we provide a written quote for any additional work before we start. The first-visit price differs between our two offices, so both are listed on every offer below.

Getting started

Intro special

New patient special

Comprehensive new-patient visit for patients paying out of pocket: a complete exam, a full set of x-rays, and a standard cleaning in the absence of gum disease.

Lincoln Park
$199
Schaumburg
$129

Includes

  • Complete exam
  • Full set of x-rays
  • Standard cleaning (in the absence of gum disease)

The cleaning included is a standard cleaning, which is the right treatment in the absence of gum disease. If the exam finds gum disease, we'll show you what we found and quote periodontal treatment in writing, and we can often start it the same day.

Self-pay pricing for new patients paying out of pocket, and it differs by office. The cleaning is included in the absence of gum disease, and the visit price is the same whether or not a cleaning is performed. Cannot be combined with insurance benefits or the membership plan.

Intro special

Emergency special

$110

Same-day emergency visit for patients paying out of pocket: a focused exam of the area in pain, plus the x-rays needed to diagnose it. Same price at both offices.

Includes

  • Exam of the area in pain
  • X-rays needed to diagnose the pain

Emergency visits are reserved for urgent problems such as pain, swelling, a broken tooth, or a lost filling or crown. The appointment covers the exam and x-rays for the area in pain, and it cannot be changed into a cleaning, a routine checkup, or other planned treatment.

Treatment to resolve the problem (fillings, extractions, root canals, antibiotics, etc.) is quoted separately before any work begins. Self-pay pricing; cannot be combined with insurance benefits or the membership plan.

Good to know

How our specials work.

Specials are self-pay pricing, for patients paying out of pocket. They cannot be combined with insurance benefits or our membership plan on the same visit. If you have dental insurance and would rather use your benefits, those are usually a better deal and we'll apply them automatically.

Anything beyond what the special explicitly includes is quoted separately in writing, before we touch a tooth. If your visit turns up something that needs treatment, you'll see the cost first and decide what to do. There is no obligation to proceed the same day. Each office sets its own self-pay prices, so book at the one you plan to visit. For how these prices compare with using benefits or the membership plan, see what dental care costs here.

Where to redeem

Pick your office.

Each office page lists that office's exact prices. Mention the special when you book, by phone or in the booking notes, and we'll have it ready at check-in.

Common questions

How much is a dental exam without insurance?
The self-pay price for a complete new-patient exam with a full set of x-rays at Dental Salon is $199 at Lincoln Park and $129 at Schaumburg. It covers the exam, the x-rays, and a standard cleaning in the absence of gum disease; any treatment you need is quoted in writing before we start. If you use dental insurance instead, your cost depends on your plan and we bill your benefits rather than the special.
Does the new patient special include a cleaning?
Yes, in the absence of gum disease. The visit covers a complete exam, a full set of x-rays, and a standard cleaning, and it is $199 at Lincoln Park and $129 at Schaumburg. If the exam finds gum disease, a standard cleaning is not the right treatment, so we show you what we found and quote periodontal care in writing, and we can often start it the same day. The visit price is the same either way.
How much does an emergency dental visit cost?
A same-day emergency visit is $110 for patients paying out of pocket, which covers an exam of the area in pain plus the x-rays needed to diagnose it. Treatment to resolve the problem, such as a filling, extraction, or root canal, is quoted separately before any work begins. If you use dental insurance instead, your cost depends on your plan.
Are the specials the same price at both offices?
Not all of them. The same-day emergency visit is $110 at both offices. The complete new-patient exam is $199 at Lincoln Park and $129 at Schaumburg. Each office honors its own pricing, so book at the one you plan to visit and check that office's page for its exact figures.
Can I use a special with my dental insurance?
No. Our specials are self-pay pricing, so they cannot be combined with insurance benefits or our membership plan on the same visit. You can still use a special if you have dental insurance and would rather pay out of pocket without filing a claim. If you prefer to use your benefits, those are usually the better deal and we apply them automatically.
Do I need to mention the special when I book?
Yes. Mention the special when you book, either by phone or in the booking notes, and we will have it ready at check-in. Both offers are available at Lincoln Park and Schaumburg, six days a week.
