- $110 exam of the area in pain, x-rays needed to diagnose the pain
Costs & payment
There are three ways to pay for the same visit, and which one is cheapest depends on your situation rather than on ours. This page lays out all three, what we can tell you about price before you are in the chair, and what we can only tell you after the exam.
Pick the one that suits you. A single visit is billed one way or another, never two at once.

We accept most major PPO plans and Medicare, file claims on your behalf, and verify your benefits before the visit so the estimate you see already accounts for them. We do not accept HMO plans (DMO or DHMO) or public insurance.
For patients with no dental benefits. Standard Plan is $350 a year ($300 for each additional member), and the Perio Plan is $450 for patients with gum disease. No waiting periods, no deductibles, full benefits the day you sign up.
Self-pay pricing is for patients paying out of pocket. It cannot be combined with insurance benefits or the membership plan. Having dental insurance does not disqualify you: you can still pay out of pocket without filing a claim, though if you have benefits they are usually the better deal and we apply them automatically. Exact figures need a look in your mouth, but how treatments rank against each other does not change. Least expensive at the top.
Cosmetic treatment is rarely covered by insurance and is quoted as self-pay. Treatment that restores function or repairs damage usually is covered at least in part, and is often FSA or HSA eligible. Each service page says which category its treatment falls into.
Good to know
After the exam and any x-rays, you get a written treatment plan that prices each option separately, including the cost of doing nothing where that is a reasonable choice. If you have benefits, they are verified first, so the estimate shows the expected coverage and the balance to you rather than a list price you then have to decode.
Nothing is booked at that visit unless you ask. If the plan is more than you want to take on right now, we sequence it: the part that is urgent gets treated, and the rest stays planned and priced for later. Larger cases can be spread over monthly payments through CareCredit or Cherry.
Looking for the price of a first visit or an emergency visit? Those are on the specials page. Already have a bill? Pay it online.
