Most consults take 30 minutes: we do a 3D scan, show you the projected before-and-after on screen, and review timeline and cost in writing. If you want to start the same day, we can. There is no separate impression visit.
You'll see us briefly every 6–10 weeks during treatment to confirm tracking and pick up new trays. Most adult cases finish in 6–18 months; teens in clear aligner treatment often track on the shorter end. We finish every case with a retainer protocol so the result holds.

- Can I get to your Lincoln Park office on the Red Line?
- Yes. We're three blocks west of the North/Clybourn Red Line stop. The #72 North Avenue bus also stops in front of the building.
- Where do I park if I drive in?
- Use the parking deck just south of North Avenue on Sheffield. Take the third-floor entrance, then the second set of elevators (past the FFC Gym) up to the 8th floor. Register your vehicle with Legacy Parking (app or https://www.legacyparking.com/) before you arrive; our front desk gives you a QR code at check-in for one complimentary hour and a discounted rate if you stay longer.
- How long does clear aligner treatment take?
- Most adult cases run 6–18 months. Mild crowding can finish in 4–6 months; complex cases can run closer to 24.
- Can I start the same day as my consult?
- Often yes. We do the 3D scan at the consult and can begin the treatment-plan submission immediately. Trays typically arrive 2–3 weeks later.
- Will clear aligners work for my case?
- Often yes. Clear aligners, including Invisalign when appropriate, cover many orthodontic cases. We'll tell you honestly at the consult if ceramic braces, traditional braces, or surgical orthodontics would serve you better.
